Introduction

whipflash is based on the most effective way to increase road safety by using a flashing brake light. Flashing brake light is considered the best method of drawing attention to the present traffic on emergency braking and other danger.

The technology to detect the movement of the vehicle based on a twin-axle sensors which are integrated in a circuit. Measurements then mathematically calculated to next activate appropriate signals to the present road.

WF II series is built into a standard relaybox for easy way to fit both in the automotive spare relay sockets and to be attached with the supplied bracket.

WF II connects only to the supply voltage, which varies depending on WF II model. Thereafter, only the signal from the brake pedal and outgoing signal to the brake light that is connected. This is done through a few changes at the brake pedal switch to know when the brake pedal is pressed down.

If you want to use the governance of the warning indicator connected another cable that in most cases in modern vehicles only connects directly to a pipeline at the warning blinker switch in the vehicle.

When the emergency brake light must show red light and the usual stop, it can be as appropriate use of dimljusen on the vehicle. Connection is then in the same way, but instead connected WF II immediately after foglight switch.
The advantage of using the foglight is that emergency braking is seen better.

Model-specific data

WF II-C is a standard model developed to fit the vehicles of weight between 800Kg and 3500Kg. Retardation value is suited for cars, motor homes and light trucks. WF II-C is a standalone product that requires no external sensors or signals, but connected only to the supply voltage and signal lines for the brake or the like, and warning indicator if desired.

Detection by the twin-axle sensor is used to:
  • Collision detection: front, side, rear
  • Hard and emergency braking
  • Automatic activation / inactivation of warning indicators
  • Sudden tilting (Trench Running example)

Installation

WF II is slightly more complicated than in WF to install as it needs
mounted in a relay base, with the supplied bracket in the appropriate place.
WF II must be mounted standing straight up in order not to risk errors in motion detection. In addition, any of the pages in line with the vehicle, therefore, may not
WF II rotated diagonally.

Then connect the desired lines and voltage is switched back on. If the brake light illuminates normally is the installation successful. Then run the vehicle up to about 50km/h and then perform a emergency brake. WF II is then installed.
